NVIDIA and OpenAI’s latest coordinated push has directly lifted the AI industry’s ceiling again.

Huang Renxun announced that Codex based on GPT-5.5 has been made available to all NVIDIA employees, and feedback from tens of thousands of employees who tried it early shows that it directly reshaped their own workflow, delivering real, tangible results across multiple departments.
What’s strongest about Codex is that it has evolved from chat-based Q&A into an Agent that can independently complete work, running on the Blackwell architecture—essentially embedding AI capabilities directly into the company’s end-to-end processes.
The two sides have also set up Codex Lab, planning to accelerate rollout with training courses.
This isn’t just a product release; it’s a deep coupling between a computing-power giant and a model giant, signaling that future enterprise AI applications will spread at a pace far faster than we can imagine.
