Morgan Stanley Launches Stablecoin Reserve Fund for GENIUS Act Compliance
Morgan Stanley Investment Management launched the Stablecoin Reserves Portfolio, a government money market fund that seeks to maintain a stable $1 net asset value for payment-type stablecoin issuers. The fund is designed to give issuers a reserve asset holding solution aligned with GENIUS Act requirements. The portfolio invests in cash, short-dated U.S. Treasuries, and overnight repurchase agreements backed by U.S. Treasuries.
