Tether has closed CNHT support - the new issuance and redemption have been completed within a year. I just saw their announcement, and they said it's a strategic move because demand is low and operational costs are no longer sustainable. Honestly, it makes sense if no users are utilizing that product. From now on, no new CNHT tokens will be issued, and there is only a one-year window to redeem. After that, it's really over. Tether recommended that those with CNHT should redeem immediately on supported blockchain networks before the deadline. It seems their strategy is really to focus only on their main products that have more users. The ending of this support is part of their pivot to more profitable assets. Anyway, if you have CNHT, it's better to move it now while there's still time.
