0G Foundation Partners with Alibaba Cloud to Integrate Qwen Large Language Model on Blockchain

On April 21, according to official news, the 0G Foundation has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to integrate Alibaba’s widely used large language model Qwen into blockchain infrastructure, enabling AI Agents to directly access top model capabilities on-chain for the first time. This collaboration marks a shift in AI access from the traditional API model to a ‘programmable, tokenized’ decentralized infrastructure, making AI model calls more automated and real-time. Currently, while AI Agents are accelerating deployment across various industries, their capabilities remain limited by access methods to mainstream models. Traditional large models typically rely on centralized APIs, requiring accounts, fiat currency settlements, and manual configurations, which are not suitable for high-frequency, automated agent interactions. Through this partnership, 0G integrates Qwen model access with a tokenized mechanism, allowing developers and AI Agents to directly invoke the model for reasoning, decision-making, and task execution, significantly lowering the access threshold and enhancing efficiency. In this architecture, Qwen provides intelligent reasoning capabilities, while 0G offers a verifiable trust layer, forming a complete loop of ‘computation + trust.’ This collaboration further strengthens Qwen’s position in the global AI ecosystem. As an important model series developed by Alibaba, Qwen has been widely implemented in multimodal and enterprise-level applications, with the latest version Qwen3.6 performing outstandingly in several benchmark tests. As competition among AI models intensifies, ‘accessibility’ is becoming a key variable.
