U.S. Defense Secretary emphasizes Iran will not possess nuclear weapons
Odaily Planet Daily reports that U.S. Secretary of Defense Hagerty opened a press conference by emphasizing one of the Trump administration’s key war aims: “Ultimately, Iran will not possess nuclear weapons.” Trump has not yet decided whether to achieve that goal through diplomatic means or a military raid. Hagerty said that since the White House ordered the blockade of Iranian ports, 34 merchant ships have been intercepted by U.S. Navy warships and redirected. (The New York Times)
