I now mostly transfer and interact through L2 first, not because I think it's more advanced, but mainly because the gas fluctuations on the mainnet mess with people's mentality… but I also don't dare to completely abandon L2. Last time I bridged back and forth and got stuck, I started imagining the worst-case scenario. Basically, I treat it as a "backup": for small, frequent daily operations, I use L2; for long-term or more important holdings, I keep them on the mainnet, which costs a bit more but allows me to sleep better.

The difference is even more obvious when entering pools. The experience on L2 is smoother, and it's easy to get itchy fingers to click a few more times, but the impermanent loss still teaches you a lesson; although the mainnet is expensive, each transaction feels like paying a "calmness fee," which actually helps restrain impulsiveness. Recently, looking at the collapse points of chain games with inflation + studio manipulation + coin price spirals, I feel it's the same: interactions are too cheap, the pace is too fast, and people are more prone to impulsive overreach… I prefer to be a bit more cautious now, do less when I can, and take it slow.
