China Foreign Trade Trust's Wei Mengmeng has a new appointment! The former chairman has been transferred to Sinochem Group.
On April 3, China Foreign Trade Trust issued an announcement. Due to a change in job responsibilities, Li Qiang will no longer serve as the company’s chairman. Wei Mengmeng will take over and perform the chairman’s duties on behalf of Li Qiang for a period not exceeding 6 months.
From an insider, it was learned that Wei Mengmeng is set to be appointed as the chairman of China Foreign Trade Trust. Her appointment qualifications will take effect after approval by the regulatory authorities. Prior to that, she will carry out the chairman’s duties in an acting capacity.
At the same time, Wei Mengmeng has been promoted to General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of China National Chemicals Capital Co., Ltd., a shareholder of China Foreign Trade Trust.
Also, according to a reporter, the former chairman of China Foreign Trade Trust, Li Qiang, has been transferred to China Sinochem Group. In addition, the new general manager of China Foreign Trade Trust has already been identified.
