Just saw that Apple pulled a fake Ledger Live app from the App Store that managed to scam over 50 people out of $9.5 million in a single week. That's wild. The counterfeit Ledger Live wallet was apparently live from April 7 to 13, so it didn't last long but still caused massive damage. ZachXBT did the on-chain investigation and found victims lost crypto across basically every major chain - Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Tron, Ripple, you name it. Makes you wonder how many of these fake wallet apps are actually sitting in app stores right now. Like, how does something impersonating Ledger Live even get through Apple's review process in the first place? Scary stuff if you're not paying close attention when downloading.
