Belarus will allow crypto banks to support 26 cryptocurrencies and 11 types of services
Techub News reports that, according to the Belarusian News Agency, Alexander Egorov, the First Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of Belarus, revealed at the Digital Banking 2026 conference that Belarus will allow crypto banks to support 26 cryptocurrencies, including mainstream coins such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Toncoin, Solana, and stablecoins, and will allow 11 types of business, including crypto deposits, crypto loans, crypto staking, crypto asset collateralization, transfers of crypto assets between individuals and legal entities, crypto banks issuing their own tokens, crypto asset exchange, and custody services. Egorov said that this list is dynamic and will be supplemented and improved based on investors’ needs and actual operating conditions. The relevant legislative basis is Decree No. 19, titled “Measures for the Regulation of Crypto Banks and Digital Tokens (Securities),” signed by the President of Belarus.
