I just reviewed something that always makes me think: 16 years ago, when Bitcoin's price in 2010 was barely over $0.30, people could have accumulated 10 bitcoins with just $3.48. It sounds ridiculous now, right?
But here’s the interesting part. If those $3.48 had been held in Bitcoin until today, with BTC trading around $78,000, we’re talking about a position worth approximately $780,000. That’s the kind of return most people will never see in their entire lives, no matter how much they work.
What impacts me the most isn’t just the number, but what it represents. Just over a decade ago, Bitcoin’s price in 2010 was so accessible that anyone with a few dollars could have entered. There was no psychological barrier like there is now. And yet, very few did.
That’s the difference between seeing an opportunity and actually acting on it. Those who invested that $3.48 in Bitcoin when the price was practically a giveaway in 2010 now have generations of wealth. Meanwhile, most are still waiting for the “perfect moment” to get in.
