According to a report by the Bangkok Post today, Thailand plans to cancel its 60-day visa-free entry program to strengthen screening of foreign tourists.

The Minister of Tourism and Sports, Surasak Panscharoenvorakul, said this is part of an effort to attract higher-quality, long-stay visitors.
