Just saw this on the news - Hong Kong police actually stopped a knife-point robbery at Sheung Wan MTR yesterday. Two guys got hit up after exchanging like HKD 10 million at a currency shop, but cops were already there waiting. Wild that they managed to catch the suspects before anything went down. What's crazier is this is apparently the third major cash robbery in that area in just three months. December, January, now this - all targeting currency exchange shops. Hong Kong police are looking into whether these are connected, maybe organized crime stuff. Pretty intense that they're stepping up security like this. Makes you think about how risky these cash exchanges can be. Anyone else been seeing more of this type of activity lately?
