The craziest part is the speed at which his wealth is growing. In just the last month, he added $64 billion. Since the start of 2026, he has already gained over $100 billion. If you think about it, it’s an exponential growth that most of us can’t even imagine.

The trajectory has been meteoric. Just a few months ago, in October 2025, he reached $500 billion, and then by December, he had already hit $600 billion, followed by $700 billion. Now, with Elon Musk’s fortune at $839 billion, the gap with the second-richest person is enormous—more than $500 billion ahead of Larry Page.

Since May 2024, he has maintained the position of the world’s richest person, but this figure from March 2026 marks a turning point. Everything is driven by the appreciation of his companies, which continues to rise.
