When the funding rate reaches those outrageous extremes, I start to get conflicted: should I take the other side of the trade once, or just stay far away? Honestly, taking the opposite side looks like "making easy money," but in reality, it's a gamble on whether I can withstand the volatility and avoid getting wiped out in a squeeze; I'm a slow-to-warm-up type, so most of the time I prefer to reduce my position and turn off leverage, even if it means earning less, I’d rather not be dragged away by emotions.
