Hong Kong-listed asset management company Bitfire Group(Bitfire Group) is acquiring a cryptocurrency trading system and personnel from Avenir Group, a private equity firm owned by cryptocurrency billionaire Li Lin.
This acquisition essentially transfers some of Li Lin's private business to a publicly listed company, with Li Lin himself being the largest shareholder of the company.
Bitfire Group's strategic goal is to leverage derivatives linked to products like IBIT to acquire over $700 million in Bitcoin-related assets.
