PFPs are pretty much like a weather vane: when things are hot, everyone displays them; when things cool down, a bunch of people quietly switch back to default avatars. Memberships, branding, and these kinds of "identity signals" can definitely attract attention in the short term, but I care more about what’s left when no one’s watching—like whether there are real actions in the community, if the information is reliable, and whether the rules have clear boundaries.

In the group these days, there’s been talk again about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and various rumors about "losing the peg," and the mood has suddenly exploded. I get anxious too, but I stick to my old habit—waiting for a confirmation... Otherwise, you think you’re buying a membership, but really you’re just fueling your own anxiety. Anyway, I’ll just watch and see slowly.
