#BTC RAVE just got up a little, and you’re starting to lose control again, but given the precedent of STO, let’s see what the essence and differences between the two really are! From the perspective of market manipulation techniques, RAVE and STO are very similar; but in legal definitions and project background, the two are completely different.

1. Both are “demon coins”: the methods are almost identical

In second-level market trading, both are viewed as the same type of “demon coin,” and the candlestick chart movement is almost “copy-paste”:

· Rapid surge and rapid crash: both see violent pump moves in a short period (such as RAVE rising 400% in a single day), followed by a quick dump to harvest profits.
· High degree of control by the market makers: the spot market control rate is as high as 96% or above; the market makers profit by manipulating both long and short positions on derivatives.
· Outcome risk: once they dump, it’s highly unlikely they’ll be able to return to the highs again; the risk is extremely high.

2. Legal identity: the difference between compliance and back-alley tactics

This is the most essential difference between the two:

· STO: refers to a security token offering, backed by real assets (such as equity and bonds), with the requirement to strictly comply with securities laws in different countries, and regulated by institutions such as the SEC.
· RAVE: is only a functional token of a Web3 entertainment project, mainly used for community governance and participating in activities; currently, it has no regulatory endorsement.

3. Value support: real returns vs hype driven by sentiment

· Compliant STO: value depends on real earnings (such as dividends), making it suitable for long-term allocation.
· RAVE: relies on community hype; in essence, it’s a “musical chairs” game created by the market maker using its capital advantage, and its 240M valuation is considered far beyond fundamentals.

Look at STO as well—it’s a rebound after a short squeeze following a violent sell-off, and then it starts to drift downward again. Just take a look—don’t go blindly join the hype.
