On April 21, a spokesperson for the International Maritime Organization stated on the 20th that the situation in the waters near the Strait of Hormuz remains turbulent and unpredictable. Nearby vessels should maintain the ‘highest level of vigilance’ and should not take risks without security assurances. According to information from the International Maritime Organization’s official website, as of the 19th, 24 incidents of vessel attacks have been confirmed in the relevant waters, resulting in the deaths of 10 crew members.
