Been looking into ways to hustle some extra cash this year and honestly there's way more options than I thought. Like, everyone talks about Uber or dog walking, but that's just scratching the surface.
I found out you can actually make decent money just selling stuff you don't use anymore. Old phones, tablets, unused gift cards sitting in drawers - people will buy them. Sites like Decluttr and Gazelle take old electronics, and CardCash handles gift cards. Apparently you won't get full value but it's still free money basically.
The freelance route is interesting too. Fiverr lets you start at $5 per project if you're building a portfolio, but once you get reviews and experience, people pay way more - some folks are charging $10,000 per project. Same with affiliate marketing - saw that low-level affiliates can pull $300 a day, high-level ones hit $3,000+.
Other gigs that caught my attention: tutoring online pays around $16-18 per hour depending on the platform, delivery driving averages $18-23 per hour, and virtual assistant work goes up to $24 per hour. Even pet sitting through Rover brings in $15 median per hour.
There's also unclaimed money - apparently 1 in 7 Americans have it just sitting in state databases. You can search for free.
Obviously you gotta be careful though. If a job offer sounds too good to be true with no skills required but crazy high pay, it's probably a scam. But if you're willing to actually put in some work, there's legit ways to find fast ways to make money these days. Really depends on what skills you have and how much time you can dedicate. Anyone here actually doing any of these?
