Just spent some time researching cheap maintenance luxury cars because I'm tired of hearing horror stories about expensive repairs. Turns out there are actually some solid options if you know where to look.

Lexus models seem to dominate this category. The IS 300 caught my attention - apparently you're looking at around $5,848 over ten years, which is honestly pretty reasonable for a luxury car. The ES 350 is similar at $5,926. Both have low chances of major repairs early on. What's interesting is that these cars are built to last without demanding constant attention like some European luxury brands.

If you want something different, Genesis G70 is worth checking out. Korean-made but definitely feels premium. Maintenance runs about $7,221 over a decade, and owners say it stays affordable year after year. The Alfa Romeo Giulia is close behind at $7,241, while the Acura TLX rounds out the list at $7,897.

The pattern I'm noticing: Japanese and Korean luxury cars have way cheaper parts than European brands, which obviously affects repair costs. So if affordable maintenance luxury cars are what you're after, you're probably better off looking at Lexus, Genesis, or Acura rather than the European names.

Anyone else have experience with these models? Curious if the real-world costs match up with what the data shows.
