I just closed the trading interface, and the longer you watch the market, the easier it is to get distracted by terms like "data availability / ordering / finality." Basically, there's one main point: whether that trade you see can actually be "verified by everyone," whether someone can cut in line and change the order, and how long it takes to be truly settled without regrets. Recently, I've heard rumors of increased taxes and tighter or relaxed compliance in certain regions, which shifts deposit and withdrawal expectations. On-chain congestion and front-running become more likely to surface, and the feeling is that "the same operation results in more mysterious outcomes." Now, before I place an order, I take an extra look: Is the data on this chain verifiable by anyone, and how many confirmation rounds are needed... so I don't end up realizing that I'm betting not on the direction, but on the rules.
