Handal Information at Thirty: AI Intelligence Upgrade Jointly Building New Quality Productive Forces for Industries
(Source: Cailian Press)
On March 20th, Hand Enterprise Solutions celebrated its 30th anniversary with a user conference in Wuhan, themed “Revitalizing Core, Sharpening Skills, Achieving Agility.” The event gathered pioneering companies, industry experts, and ecosystem partners from across the country. Core executives and specialists from Volcano Engine, Feishu, Alibaba Cloud, NVIDIA, Amazon Web Services, Xinhecheng, Li Auto, Baibeike Babycare, Zhongding Group, and others attended.
As a leader in China’s enterprise IT services sector, Hand Enterprise Solutions has evolved over thirty years from an early ERP implementation provider to a comprehensive service provider covering general ERP, product solutions, and digital platforms.
Chairman Chen Diqing stated in his opening speech, “Over the past thirty years, Hand has been fortunate to witness and participate in China’s journey from enterprise informatization to intelligentization. Standing at a new starting point, we will continue to focus on customer needs, collaborate with ecosystem partners, and use more mature technology and products to inject lasting momentum into high-quality enterprise development.”
Significant results from strategic transformation, AI reshaping core business models
Hand Enterprise Solutions’ three-decade development trajectory has always resonated with China’s economic and IT waves. The company’s origins trace back to 1996, starting with ERP system implementation services. It became a key partner of international vendors like Oracle and SAP, accumulating a large base of high-quality enterprise clients and cultivating a team of IT consultants skilled in business and processes. In 2011, it became the first domestic IT consulting firm listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, leveraging capital for steady growth. Later, facing industry shifts driven by cloud computing and SaaS, Hand initiated a productization strategy, continuously investing in independent R&D.
“Over the past thirty years, we’ve moved from single ERP implementation to multi-product collaboration, from following technology to leading innovation. Behind this is countless tough choices during transformation. Even under performance pressure, we’ve remained committed to our clients, investing in product R&D, eventually overcoming lows and entering a new cycle centered on products and platforms,” Chen Diqing said.
CEO Huang Yiquan explained the company’s growth logic from a customer value perspective. “Hand’s growth is fundamentally a process of continuously aligning with customer needs and enhancing value delivery—shifting from services to products, from platforms to AI intelligentization. Every iteration revolves around making enterprises always need Hand,” Huang said. Today, Hand has built a business model of “Customer Needs Scenario + Professional Business Consultants + Product Platform + Ecosystem Partners,” forming a core product matrix including the H-ZERO enterprise-level PaaS platform, AI middle platform, data platform, and industry solutions.
In terms of business structure optimization, proprietary software products are growing faster than overall revenue, with AI-related businesses experiencing rapid expansion. Building on 78 million yuan in AI revenue in 2024, the AI application business surpassed 210 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2025, a significant year-over-year increase, becoming a key growth driver.
Meanwhile, the company’s overseas business has shifted from service export to product export. Based on a global service network covering Japan, Singapore, Europe, the US, and India, Hand further exports successful Chinese enterprise practices in product form to global markets. Notably, the Lingyuan (Dasheng) AI middle platform has completed multiple upgrades, continuously optimizing in areas like Agent intelligent agents and enterprise knowledge assistants, and has been deployed in hundreds of client scenarios domestically and internationally, validating its global adaptability.
Multiple scenario deployments, ecosystem collaboration creating multiplier effects
At the conference, Hand showcased AI’s deep application across multiple industries and scenarios, illustrating its transition from “technology validation” to “deep business integration.” A closed-door seminar was also held, inviting NVIDIA and other heavyweight industry guests to discuss cutting-edge AI technology evolution and industry applications, sparking new ideas for AI and real economy integration.
Chen Diqing emphasized, “AI isn’t about overthrowing existing tools and processes but about optimizing resource allocation based on the least energy principle, leveraging existing foundations to achieve value leaps. Hand’s role is to work with clients and partners to create the best AI-enabled products and processes.”
Huang Yiquan highlighted that enterprise demand for AI applications centers on certainty of value rather than blind technological pursuit. In cross-border compliance, Hand’s multi-agent collaboration platform for cross-border fulfillment attracted attention. It addresses the “uncontrollable” issues of traditional cross-border compliance by encapsulating professional AI agents as skill modules, compensating for general AI tools’ limitations in complex scenarios. The platform can automatically analyze orders, query inventories, plan transportation routes, and generate multiple optimized solutions within seconds—reducing decision-making from 1-2 days to minutes—effectively solving industry pain points like information asymmetry, unrecorded abnormal decisions, quantifying fulfillment risks, and scaling experience reliance. This helps enterprises lower fulfillment costs and improve delivery efficiency.
In industry applications, collaborations with leading companies like Li Auto, Xinhecheng, Baibeike Babycare, and Zhongding Group have validated AI’s value. For example, the joint supply chain platform with Li Auto enhances supplier quality transparency and delivery risk control, increasing planning accuracy by over 10%, and significantly reducing inventory costs and claims; AI solutions for Xinhecheng, based on “dual-loop collaboration,” optimize chemical production operations; Baibeike Babycare’s integrated business and finance omnichannel hub connects over 20 systems for automated reconciliation and T+1 real-time management; Zhongding’s AIFactory project, with 12 deployed agents covering core scenarios like production scheduling and risk management, greatly improves efficiency. Hand has also partnered deeply with industry leaders in machinery, brewing, dairy, and more, deploying numerous digital and intelligent solutions.
Ecosystem collaboration is a key pillar of Hand’s AI strategy. At the event, partners like Volcano Engine, Alibaba Cloud, Feishu, and AWS showcased their full-chain capabilities—from foundational computing and large models to upper-layer applications. Volcano Engine, Alibaba Cloud’s enterprise AI platform, offers solutions addressing AI security and permissions; Alibaba’s “Tongyi Qianwen” large model integrates deeply with Hand’s AI middle platform to build full-stack solutions; Feishu co-develops AI tools for production and sales collaboration; AWS’s global infrastructure and compliance support Hand’s overseas AI services. Continuous R&D investment underpins ecosystem synergy and scenario deployment. According to financial reports, R&D expenses reached 248 million yuan in 2024 and 185 million yuan in the first three quarters of 2025, maintaining high investment levels over the years to support technological innovation.
Focusing on certainty of value, building long-term AI competitiveness
In the face of AI-driven industry change, enterprises increasingly demand “implementable, certain-value” AI solutions. Hand is precisely the core partner market and customer needs. Huang Yiquan further explained Hand’s core methodology: the goal of applying AI is to “find the optimal solution,” making downstream more satisfied and upstream simpler. Achieving this requires three key supports: precise scenario design, clear AI requirements for each role; rich atomic capabilities, calling deterministic APIs and modules to avoid overreach; and a highly penetrative data network, integrating structured and unstructured data to build a solid foundation. This is why Hand continues to be chosen by clients and industry—its thirty years of industry experience underpin solutions that truly solve practical problems and create measurable value.
Chen Diqing also mentioned industry trends: “Many now worry whether AI will replace humans or existing businesses. In fact, the principle of minimal energy in nature applies to AI as well—it will efficiently utilize existing tools and processes rather than build from scratch. Hand’s opportunity is to transform thirty years of industry experience and client business insights into personalized models and skills for the AI era.”
On the technical implementation side, Hand emphasizes that AI isn’t about replacing tools and processes but about optimizing resource allocation to enable human-machine collaboration. Its AI middle platform employs a three-layer architecture—application, platform, and data layers—integrating atomic capabilities with underlying data to support real-time decision-making. The “DeLing” B-end AI product and service system form a complete layout covering agents, AI middle platform, vertical models, and supporting services. Hand is also exploring domain-specific small models for scenarios like design optimization and yield improvement, training specialized models to achieve creative optimal solutions.
At thirty, Hand is driven by technological innovation and ecosystem collaboration, completing three major upgrades from services to products, from platforms to AI intelligence. From early ERP implementation to comprehensive general ERP services, from single project delivery to full-stack product solutions, its transformation reflects the evolution of China’s enterprise IT services industry.
These three upgrades are not only Hand’s growth milestones but also vivid testimonials of China’s digitalization and intelligentization wave—shifting from following international tech to independent innovation, from project delivery to product output, from serving domestically to global deployment. With thirty years of perseverance and iteration, Hand proves that Chinese enterprise IT providers can become core forces in the industry’s intelligent transformation, valued by clients, industry, and the times. Standing at a new starting point, Hand will continue to uphold a “customer-centric” philosophy, anchor on certain value, and use AI to inject new momentum into the real economy, working alongside more Chinese enterprises to write a new chapter of industrial intelligence.
