One of the four major banks in the United States, Wells Fargo, has applied to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to register the trademark "WFUSD." The related service categories involve cryptocurrency, stablecoins, digital asset trading, payments, and software services. The application was submitted on March 10 and has been accepted but is still pending review.
