12.9 BTC/ETH Strategy Analysis

The "roller coaster" market on December 8 once again confirmed that the three major supports remain solid: macro easing expectations, institutional capital inflows, and Ethereum fundamental improvements. The short-term volatility is a period of consolidation and position swapping before major events, not a trend reversal. Key points to watch next: the Fed's interest rate decision and policy statement in the early hours of tomorrow, especially guidance on the rate cut path for 2026; ongoing data verification of Layer-2 transaction fees and ecosystem activity after Ethereum's Fusaka upgrade; and whether Bitcoin can hold above $90,000 and break through the $92,000-$93,000 resistance area.

Yesterday, BTC rebounded to a high of around 92,259 but the rebound failed to continue. In the evening it dropped to a low of around 89,562, then rebounded to around 91,350 and is currently consolidating near 90,000. Yesterday's strategy was perfectly validated, so after BTC failed to break above 92,000, it is now in a key consolidation range with bulls and bears in a standoff. The market is waiting for guidance from the Fed's interest rate decision, and overall sentiment is cautious.

ETH is currently oscillating near 3,100, consolidating between yesterday's rebound high of 3,180 and low of 3,076, basically matching the expected move and perfectly validating the trading strategy.
