Source: CryptoNewsNet Original Title: December In Washington Flanked By A Flurry Of Crypto Policy Forums Original Link: It is not going to be a quiet December in the nation’s Capitol. In the coming weeks leading to the holiday season, expect crypto activity to be stirring as hopes for passage of digital assets market structure legislation dwindles.

But all is not lost. Senate Banking Chair Tim Scott is optimistic about committee votes of the two Senate bills in December. He shared this sentiment in a news interview two weeks ago.

“Next month, we believe we can mark up and vote in both committees and get this to the floor of the Senate early next year so that President Trump will sign the legislation making America the crypto capital of the world.”

Any vote in the Chamber before Congress recesses for the holidays would be viewed as a good sign for those with visions of sugar-plums.

To keep the drumbeat high, crypto policy forums will also be abundant during a time that would typically be all about swanky Washington, DC holiday parties.

Washington finally has a bit of a voice, although it's still just a pipe dream.

What Scott is optimistic about... we need to see clearly, afraid it will be empty promises.

Scott finally got the hang of it, once the Americans sorted out the policies, we can enjoy our chicken.

Washington is talking again, Scott's attitude... Why hasn't the 0.382 collateral risk been triggered yet? The leveraged position should have gotten liquidated long ago.
