Crypto Circle News reports that, according to ABC News reporter Jonathan Karl, Trump provided a slightly different version of his phone call with Netanyahu during an interview last night. Trump said that he indeed directly asked Netanyahu to delay an attack on Iran. He described what he told Netanyahu at the time as follows: “I don’t want to do anything that would harm the deal, but I told him, ‘You have to use your judgment.’ You do what you think is right, but I don’t want this deal to be jeopardized.”

Old Trump’s rhetoric is pretty slick, both distancing himself from responsibility and saving face—classic politician behavior.
