ME News report: On May 17 (UTC+8), Iranian media reported that, in response to recent remarks by U.S. President Trump regarding Iran, a senior spokesperson of Iran’s armed forces issued a warning, reminding the U.S. side to avoid launching any new military action against Iran. The spokesperson said that if the U.S. attempts to save face by taking action against Iran, it will face “more fierce and more severe strikes.” He also stated that if the U.S. again carries out military threats or actions against Iran, U.S. military assets and troops in the region will encounter a “completely new, offensive, unexpected response, like a storm.” (Source: MLion)
