China's AI infrastructure roadmap is becoming increasingly clear:
It's not just about buying cards and building data centers, but about creating a nationwide computing network.
According to Bloomberg, China plans to invest approximately 2 trillion yuan over the next five years to build an interconnected data center network across the country.
This will be operated mainly by state-owned enterprises like China Mobile and China Telecom, responsible for core operations and interconnectivity.
The most critical point is: at least 80% of core AI chips will rely on domestic suppliers like Huawei.
This has significant implications for the industry chain:
1️⃣ Huawei's Ascend will become a core beneficiary
2️⃣ Operators will shift from communication pipelines to computing infrastructure providers
3️⃣ Domestic AI chips will gain access to real large-scale training scenarios
4️⃣ The ceiling for Nvidia/AMD in the Chinese market will be lowered
The US is working on Stargate, while China is building a "computing power grid."
In this AI race, it has moved from model competition to a national-level infrastructure competition.
