25 years in prison yet to be served, and SBF is calling for a pardon?
----Are you qualified?
FTT surges 77% just because he said in prison: “I lost 170%.”
Is the world going crazy? Or does someone think a liar’s tears are worth more than victims’ blood?
Here’s what happened:
SBF officially applied for a presidential pardon from Trump. His family lobbied for months, and he gave an innocent-looking interview from prison:
“User repayment rate has reached 170%.”
“I missed the AI wave.”
“I absolutely hope to get a pardon.”
Once the news broke, FTT instantly skyrocketed from $0.19 to $0.335—an increase of 77%. Speculators even want to lick the prison number on his leg.
How is this “170%” calculated? It’s not that SBF recovered the stolen money; it’s that the bankrupt team sold off remaining assets during the bull market, and the liquidation used coin prices after the crash in November 2022. Bitcoin rose from 16k to 70k, and SOL increased tenfold—do these gains have anything to do with him?
He used your money to buy mansions, donate to political campaigns, and fund hedge funds. Lost it all, went to jail, then the market recovered on its own, and he says “I gained another 70%.”
He stole your chickens, the market hatched eggs into chicks, and he says, ‘Look, I’m giving you a whole coop of chickens’—this is the compound interest of a scammer.
So why does he think he deserves a pardon?
Just because he “missed the AI wave”? A person who scammed hundreds of millions isn’t regretting how many people he harmed; he’s upset he didn’t catch the next hot trend. This shameless attitude is basically spitting in the face of victims.
Will Trump pardon him?
The chance is very low, but not zero. These days, the script of buying pardons with political donations isn’t new. SBF was a major donor for both parties. His parents are Stanford law professors, and the lobbying machine is still running at full speed. Trump has pulled off surprises before.
If he really gets pardoned, the crypto industry will become a complete joke.
From then on, every scammer will say: “First, misappropriate user funds, wait for the bull market to return, then ask the president for a pardon. Anyway, the market will help me ‘pay off’.”
SBF’s plea for a pardon isn’t the main story; the surge in FTT is the ultimate insult to intelligence.
