Here is what happened.
A series of wallet compromises hit ethereum:0xcf5104d094e3864cfcbda43b82e1cefd26a016eb token holders, with funds being swept across six attacker addresses and immediately swapped into $ETH. More than 17 wallets drained. Over 16,000 $ETH extracted and still moving. The root cause is unknown but every affected wallet appears to share a common exposure point linked to Humanity Protocol.

The most chilling detail: the protocol built around verifying human identity online just had its own users' wallets emptied without a single warning.
