Golden Finance reports that Citadel Securities believes the next major risk facing investors is the tightening of the financial environment, as the Federal Reserve may need to raise interest rates "soon" to curb rising inflation pressures.
Nohshad Shah, Head of Fixed Income Sales for Citadel Securities in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), wrote in a client report that the combination of a massive general artificial intelligence investment cycle, a more tense energy market, and a strengthening labor market is increasing the upside risks to economic growth and inflation. "The Fed's next move is most likely to be a rate hike... perhaps coming very soon."
