BlockBeats News, June 8, Regarding the latest developments in the Middle East situation, London King's College International Security Lecturer Ping Fude stated that as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz stabilizes, Iran seems to be gradually entering a state that observers call "neither war nor peace." Ping Fude pointed out, "Currently, Iran's attitude appears relatively stable and not eager to return to the negotiating table to seek sanctions relief."

He believes that compared to Iran, the U.S. side is more clearly eager to push for an agreement, despite Trump occasionally making tough statements. "From the signals released by Trump, there is a clear contrast," Ping Fude said, "On one hand, he frequently makes strong remarks about restarting war and destroying civilization; on the other hand, he also posted that the agreement is within reach."

Meanwhile, when discussing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's decision-making logic, Ping Fude pointed out that Netanyahu needs to prove that Israel is maintaining a tough stance against Hezbollah in Lebanon, rather than simply executing Trump's policy intentions. He said, "Netanyahu must demonstrate that he is seriously cracking down on Hezbollah, rather than just acting according to Trump's demands."
