Gabriel dropped out of high school and taught himself, becoming an OpenAI scientist—then Gabriel resigned to enter founder mode.

According to Beating monitoring, a former research scientist within OpenAI’s video generation model Sora team and a self-taught Swedish youth, Gabriel Petersson, announced his departure from OpenAI. Petersson said he left OpenAI to start his own independent business and plans to build the last product before the arrival of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), while making a high-profile announcement that he is entering founder mode (FOUNDER MODE).
Next, three things need to be watched: whether relevant funding continues to flow in, whether on-chain trading volume and open positions continue to expand, and whether the project team or regulators provide new confirmation information. A single breaking news update can only show that sentiment has been sparked; later data will determine whether it can take root as a trend.
Risks must also be put on the table: Petersson’s personal growth path is highly disruptive within an AI industry crowded with elites. He was born in a remote village in Sweden that is hard to find on a map. At 17, he dropped out of high school, and he even once considered himself dull because he couldn’t understand machine learning courses.
