Just now I got restless again and felt like chasing one more. Staring at the order book for those few seconds really makes it easy to get swept up. Later, I forced myself to pause and asked: Is this add-on to my position because I’ve seen new information, or is it just fear of missing out—being pushed around by my emotions? Put simply, information makes me willing to wait for confirmation, while emotions only make me want to execute immediately.
Recently, developers seem pretty excited about the modularization and DA layer narrative. Even on Twitter I can feel the buzz, but ordinary users are basically completely clueless… At times like this, the easiest misalignment is when “the ones who understand charge in first, and the ones who don’t understand follow along.” If funding rates and the position structure start to skew in one direction too, I’d be even more inclined to pull back first—anyway, it’s not like I’ll miss out on this one.
What I’m afraid of missing the most isn’t actually an opportunity—it’s being clear-headed.
