According to Jin10 Futures, CBOT corn futures fell 1.8% on Thursday, with the benchmark contract reaching its lowest level since late January. The July contract dropped to a five-month low, while the December contract fell to a 4.5-month low. The decline was attributed to more favorable weather conditions in the U.S. Midwest, falling crude oil prices, and weak corn export sales.
