Recently, I saw a bunch of L2s comparing TPS, transaction fees, and subsidies, arguing quite heatedly, but what I’m more worried about is: you save a few cents by cross-chain or re-authorizing, and end up giving the contract an “unlimited” allowance. Honestly, this is like leaving the door unlocked; nothing happens normally, but if something goes wrong, you’ll be unable to sleep.

Now I set a rule for myself: revoke permissions after use, a habit as basic as brushing teeth and going to sleep. If I don’t do it, I feel uneasy. I used to think “wait until I accumulate a few to revoke at once,” but I kept delaying… Later, I lowered my goal: today I only revoke one, only check one wallet, and surprisingly, I stick to it longer. Take it slow if needed, at least it’s not a gamble.
