Mars Finance News, May 24 — The Russian government has expanded the scope of information that miners and mining infrastructure operators must submit to tax authorities. According to the new decree, the national registration information for miners and operators will include network addresses used for mining equipment (ASIC miners). The Russian Ministry of Finance states that this measure will help streamline the regulation of digital asset transactions and investigations into violations, as well as facilitate grid operators in monitoring infrastructure loads in areas with dense mining activity.
Under current regulations, Russian miners are already required to regularly update information such as the manufacturer, model, serial number, algorithm, hash rate, power consumption, operating mode, mined currency, output volume, mining pool, and online statistical links of their mining machines. Mining pool links are already public, and now even device IPs need to be bound.

This move is a bit too bold; Eastern Europe's computing power is probably going to leak out.

Serial number mining currencies are not enough; now you even have to pay for network segments.

The reason of grid monitoring load is indeed justifiable.
