Russia requires miners to report the network address of each ASIC mining machine.
The Russian government is expanding the scope of information submitted by miners and mining operators to tax authorities, including adding the network addresses of ASIC mining machines to the national registry. The Ministry of Finance states that this move will simplify the regulation of digital asset transactions and investigations into violations, as well as facilitate monitoring the infrastructure load in areas with dense mining activity. Current regulations already require miners to provide information such as the manufacturer, model, serial number, algorithm, hash rate, power consumption, operating mode, mining currency, output volume, mining pool, and online statistics links.
