ME News, May 15 (UTC+8): Iran’s Foreign Minister Araghchi said that the issue of the enriched uranium involved is quite complex. Iran has reached agreement with the United States to postpone negotiations regarding enriched uranium materials. Abbas Araghchi stated in New Delhi on Friday that Tehran has “no trust” in the U.S., and would only consider negotiations if Washington demonstrates a “serious attitude.” Speaking during the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting, he said Iran is trying to maintain the current ceasefire in order to create space for diplomatic efforts. Araghchi emphasized that Iran has long lacked trust in the U.S., and said that any communication under the current circumstances depends on whether the U.S. shows a “serious and credible stance.” He also said that Iran still hopes to maintain the ceasefire to leave room for subsequent diplomatic engagement and to de-escalate the situation. The phrase "serious attitude" has been heard too many times in the Middle East.

The concentration of enriched uranium cannot be reduced, and mutual trust cannot be increased.

This game of chess between the U.S. and Iran, trust deficit is harder to dilute than uranium enrichment.
