A person's resilience to stress comes from psychological resilience. True stability of the core comes from values, not just emotional control. A mature person is not someone without pressure, but someone who is not easily trapped by a single emotion. Because they have more life experience, knowledge structure, and perspectives on issues, they won't treat a single outcome as the entire world. Multi-point, multi-threaded thinking about knowledge allows a person to remain graceful even under pressure. Many people's suffering essentially comes from lacking a value coordinate system. Because their self-worth is completely tied to the results. True elegance under pressure is not about pretending to be composed, but a state where even if the world is chaotic, the inner sense of order remains. And this sense of order often comes from: experience, reflection, self-understanding, and a long-term established value system.
