Avalanche Foundation Establishes Independent Selection Committee for Research Solicitation Program

On May 21, the Avalanche Foundation announced the establishment of an independent selection committee for its 'Research Solicitation Program.' The committee members include Emin Gün Sirer, founder and CEO of AvaLabs, Matias A., Chief Investment Officer of the Avalanche Foundation, Chief Economist Eric Lu, as well as external academic experts such as Professor Campbell Harvey from Duke University, Professor Fahad Saleh from the University of Florida, and Professor Agostino Capponi from Columbia University. The 'Research Solicitation Program' is currently open for applications, focusing on two main areas: pricing and valuation of crypto assets, and validator economics and network security. Proposals will be evaluated based on five criteria: relevance to the research topic, methodological rigor, novelty of contribution, feasibility, and team qualifications.
