Abstract generation in progress
FTX US's primary external legal counsel Fenwick & West agreed to pay $54 million to settle claims related to their assistance in Sam Bankman-Fried's fraud brought by FTX customers; the auditing firm Prager Metis also agreed to pay $11.75 million, and former NBA player and FTX promoter Udonis Haslem will pay $420k, bringing the total settlement amount for the second batch of FTX class-action lawsuits to approximately $66.17 million. Fenwick denies any misconduct and states that they were unaware of the FTX fraud incident. The settlement still requires preliminary approval from U.S. District Judge K. Michael Moore in the Southern District of Florida, and does not cover Fenwick's other civil lawsuit in Washington, D.C., involving $525 million. (The Block)

Settlement does not cover another case; the victim still has to run around both ways.
