Abstract generation in progress
ME News Report, May 23 (UTC+8), Changqiao Securities further clarifies recent regulatory matters concerning China's cross-border securities business. Changqiao Securities stated that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission and mainland regulatory authorities such as the China Securities Regulatory Commission have recently issued the latest regulatory requirements for cross-border securities activities, establishing industry-wide unified standards for services targeting mainland investors. These regulatory rules apply to all overseas financial institutions. Changqiao actively responds to the regulatory guidance from both regions and will strictly follow the relevant requirements to steadily advance compliance work. Changqiao Securities stated that the scope of accounts to be cleaned this time is limited and clearly defined, mainly targeting two types of accounts: one is investment accounts opened with suspicious or forged documents; the other is zero-balance inactive investment accounts. Customer accounts that are normally compliant and have genuine assets and holdings are not within the scope of this cleanup. Changqiao firmly supports the regulatory zero-tolerance attitude toward false account opening behaviors and will handle them strictly according to regulatory requirements. (Source: PANews)
