Crypto Financial Infrastructure Cycles Raises $6.4 Million Seed Round Led by Blockchange Ventures

On May 21, crypto financial infrastructure Cycles announced the completion of a $6.4 million seed round financing, led by Blockchange Ventures, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Compound VC, and Primitive Ventures. This round brings its total funding to $8.7 million. The new funds will help scale Cycles Prime and Cycles Pay, with Lynq and FalconX joining as key partners. Cycles was founded by Ethan Buchman after being spun off from Informal Systems, aiming to reduce liquidity bottlenecks and settlement risks in digital assets. It achieves multi-party net settlement through zero-knowledge proofs and trusted execution environments, thereby lowering counterparty risk and reducing liquidity usage.
