Alibaba releases Qoder 1.0, upgrading its positioning from an AI IDE to an autonomous agent development workspace. The Quest mode becomes an independent window, where developers set goals and the intelligent agent handles the entire process. The new version supports cross-codebase parallel multi-project tasks within a unified panel, automatically generating delivery checklists with documentation and code changes upon completion. It introduces a team-level knowledge engine, increasing code retention by 11% and reducing dialogue rounds by 33%; and also introduces expert groups and customizable dedicated intelligent agent teams.
