Recently, I've seen everyone hype up AI agents that can help you perform on-chain operations with one click.
I'm a bit tempted but also a little scared.
Honestly, anything that can be automatically clicked can be clicked automatically; the real thing that requires human oversight is the step: "Confirm what you're actually signing":
Is the address correct, are the permissions too broad, has the transaction path been filled with strange stuff.
Especially lately, hardware wallets are out of stock, and phishing links are rampant.
Without enough security awareness, an agent can actually become an accelerator, stepping into every trap along the way.
Yesterday, I even experienced a situation where I had to refresh/retry/queue to get the transaction sent out.
That kind of mindset is very real: the more urgent, the more likely you are to click carelessly.
Anyway, my current principle is:
Agents can help me organize information and simulate results, but before the final signing, I still need to review the original text and authorization details.
If I don’t look, I might as well say I didn’t earn anything from it.
