THORChain releases attack incident recovery plan, node operators voting has begun
THORChain releases the fourth update, ADR028 has been announced, and node operators have voted.
Recovery plan: The protocol's own liquidity absorbs losses to zero, with the remaining borne by synthetic asset holders, the ratio to be evaluated, and no issuance/dilution of RUNE.
GG20 has been patched, vulnerabilities fixed, and trading will resume after node rotation; future releases will focus more on security.
Innocent nodes are protected, attacker nodes are fully penalized, RUNE and assets are matched on a one-to-one basis, with excess destroyed.
White hat bounties are also issued to attackers, with some returned proportionally as callbacks.
THORChain remains neutral and permissionless; after recovery, it will not scrutinize attacker swaps.
ADR figures are indicative and will be adjusted later via Mimir.
