Wang Chun will participate in SpaceX's first crewed interstellar flight, flying past Mars and then returning to Earth.
SpaceX announced that F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun will serve as the commander of the first Starship interstellar crewed mission, carrying out a flight of approximately two years. The mission will first conduct reconnaissance outside the Earth–Moon system, then fly past Mars and return to Earth. This will be Starship’s first commercial interstellar crewed mission. Wang Chun previously commanded the Fram2 polar orbit mission in 2025.
