Recently, I saw a friend almost enter their seed phrase into a website that looked exactly the same... Basically, there are two red flags: seed phrases should only be used once when initializing your new wallet, any pop-up/customer service/plugin asking you to fill in is 99% phishing; don’t treat signature approvals as just “click confirm,” especially those that you don’t understand what they’re authorizing or that conveniently open unlimited limits—now I’d rather pay a bit more in fees to set a limit.

Additionally, compliance has been fluctuating lately with taxes being added and restrictions tightening, causing deposit and withdrawal expectations to be twisted back and forth. People tend to get anxious, and the more anxious they are, the easier it is to click the wrong link. Anyway, I’ve lowered my expectations: take it slow, double-check the domain name, never click on unfamiliar links… It’s much more relaxed this way.
