Airdrops have been getting hot again lately, and I also feel the itch to interact. But remembering that old experience of “staying busy all the way, only to get sniped at the end,” my mindset instantly cools down... Honestly, interaction isn’t something you do hard work for in exchange for rewards. It’s more like a battle of wits with rules and human nature.
Right now, I set a rather “old-school” standard for myself: I’ll only do it if I can accept the cost of not getting an airdrop without feeling any pain—counting transaction fees, time, and attention. The moment I see a long list of tasks that makes me get all fired up, I just shut it down, so FOMO doesn’t lead me off track. On-chain yield products are the same. Lately, there’s been nonstop talk comparing RWA with things like US bond yields—sounds pretty tempting—but what I fear more is that the four words “looks stable” could give me a confidence boost, and then one day my position might get cut off before I even realize it.
Anyway, I’d rather interact less and go slower than try to prop up my curve with luck. That’s it for now.
